Buying a ticket

On this page, we'll guide you through the steps of purchasing tickets. We start by selecting the event, then creating your basket by choosing the appropriate price category and seat location. We'll go over the billing and payment details, and then look at how you can download your purchased tickets. Let's get started!

The webshop's operation is extremely simple. When you open the webshop, events appear as tiles in chronological order. You can browse through the events or use the search bar to narrow down your search. You can filter by artist, program, date, location and more. Instead of the tile view, you can also choose to display events in Calendar or Map view. If you want to change the language, you can do so by clicking on the Profile menu in the top right corner and selecting Change language from the dropdown menu. Once you've found the event you're looking for, simply click on the event tile image!

We have reached the event page, where you will find a wealth of information about the artist, the date, the venue, the available ticket categories and prices, VIP packages, and a lot of other important details. Be sure to review these thoroughly, as all the information listed here will help you choose the right ticket.

We have reached the most exciting part, choosing the places that you like!

Depending on how you want to choose your seat, you have four options – but don't be worried, the process is very simple! You just need to decide whether you want to select a seat based on price category, sector, an exact seat, or standing/seated options. Let's go through these one by one!

You can choose what category of ticket you would like to select. Hover your mouse over the price category list that appears below the selection buttons, and you will see on the interactive map where tickets are available in that particular price category. Once you are ready, select a category from the list, then use the +/- buttons to set how many tickets you would like to purchase within that price category. The system automatically offers the best available seats for purchase according to your choice and displays them in the collection on the left side. If you are satisfied with the offered seats, click the Add to basket button! This is when the tickets will actually be added to your basket.

You can choose which sector you would like to sit in. Hover your mouse over the sector list that appears below the selection buttons, and you will see where the given sector is located on the interactive map. Once you are ready, select a sector from the list, then use the +/- buttons to set how many tickets you would like to purchase from the available price categories in that sector. Within a sector, several price categories may be available! The system automatically selects the best available options from the chosen sector based on your selection of price category. If you are satisfied with the offered options, click the Add to basket button! This is when the tickets will actually be added to your basket.

In this mode, you can choose the exact spot where you would like to sit. After selecting the mode, click on a sector of the interactive map that you like - the individual seats available in that area will appear. Be careful, because the different colored seats represent different prices! Hover your mouse over a seat and a bubble will display the current price for that seat. If you have found the seat you want to buy, click on it. By doing so, the seat will not yet be added to your cart, but the result of your selection will appear in the selection window, where you can once again check the price of the chosen item. If you are finished selecting and you are happy with the selected seats, click the Add to basket button! This is when the tickets will actually be added to your basket.

If standing places are available for the event, you can select a general admission standing place in this mode. After clicking this mode selector, the available general admission categories will appear under the mode selectors (yes, there may be more than one!). Using the +/- buttons, select as many as you need from the given category. When you are happy with your selection, click the Add to basket button! This is when the tickets will actually be added to your basket.

No matter how you have placed the tickets in your basket, after hitting the Add to basket button, you will return to the event page, and the contents of your basket will slide in from the right hand side. Your selected tickets will appear here, along with any ticketing fees that may apply, which will be automatically added to your basket. Carefully review the contents of your cart, and if everything is correct, let's proceed - click the Checkout button!

If many people are shopping in the webshop at the same time, it may happen that several of you are trying to add the same items to your cart. In this case, after hitting the Add to basket button, it will succeed for one person, while the others will receive an error message. If this happens to you, there’s no need to worry; simply choose new items and add them to your basket!

It's time to log in to your funcode.hu account using the Sign into an account button - or, if you don’t have one yet, create one! Creating an account is a piece of cake: click the Create an account button, then choose how you would like to create your account. You can use your existing Google or Facebook accounts, or you can create an account using your email address. All we require is a name, email address, and password, and this is solely so that we can keep you informed about important information related to your order in the future.

If you already have a funcode.hu account, select the Sign into an account option and log in with the provider you used when creating the account. This can be Google, Facebook, or email. Hit Sign in!

The next three, or, in the case of a new user, four pages involve a few quick administrative steps. In the initial window, if you have not purchased from us before, we need to know if you are buying on behalf of a company and therefore you need an official invoice issued to your company. If not, select the No option and click the Next button. If yes, then hit Yes and please enter the company’s tax identification number, and only then click the Next button accordingly. In the first window, you can review your billing information, or, if you have not provided it yet, there is an opportunity to do so here. By clicking the Next button, you will encounter several legal statements that are essential for purchasing tickets and participating in the event. Please review them carefully, interpret them, and if you agree with them, accept them. The last, third window is just a reminder that by clicking the Proceed to Payment button, you will be redirected to the SimplePay online payment system, where you can complete the payment. Let's take a closer look at this as well!

You've arrived at the external site of the SimplePay online payment service. Here, you need to enter the details of the credit card you would like to use for payment, or if you have your own Simple account, you can pay with that as well, and even with your Apple and Google Pay accounts. One way or another, pay attention to the time! The time for bank payments counts towards your basket time, which usually ranges between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the event.

It is important to know that the payment is carried out entirely through a secure banking system, so not only we, but no one else can see the data used for the payment - maximum security! Once you have completed the payment, the bank will redirect you back to our site, where we will also inform you about the status of the payment. If the payment is successful, you can start downloading the ticket. How exciting!

Manage my account (soon)

After a successful payment, you will be redirected back to us, to the order confirmation page, from where you can immediately download your tickets by clicking on the Download button, and then the Download as PDF button. The downloaded ticket is a PDF document in A4 format, containing as many pages as the number of tickets you purchased. You can print the downloaded ticket, but you can also show it on your phone's screen. The important thing is that you must have your ticket with you at the event! By using the Add to Apple Wallet button, your tickets will immediately be added to your Apple Wallet, so you won't have to worry about where your tickets went. However, be sure to add the tickets to your wallet one by one! If you do not download your ticket immediately after purchase, you can return at any time to your funcode.hu account, where you can find your ticket as well as those for all your previous orders. We will send you three emails: the first one is from Simple informing you about the successful payment, the second one is from Funcode regarding the successful order, and finally, in the third one, you will find your invoice issued by szamlazz.hu.
